I used to think Legoland belonged overseas only. Half true: I lived in Germany was I was younger, home to Legoland Deutschland, so of course I thought that. Exactly one year ago, Legoland opened up in what used to be Central Florida’s Cypress Gardens, and now the miniatures are even closer than ever. I was lucky to purchase some extremely cheap charity tickets and gifted them to my husband and his parents for their birthdays. We just went a week or so ago. It was fun! If you like Lego, you’ll love it. My favorite parts were how Legoland incorporated the Florida landscape and history of the previous park, the deliciously cheap kid’s meal (less than $6 for a cheeseburger, small fry, apple slices, and water bottle!), and the Lego miniature cities (I could spend HOURS staring at them). Enjoy some pics.

Ha. I thought the alligator was made out of Legos at first. I was like “Holy amazeballs…that alligator looks real”
Yeah. i’m a dork!
