So, back in the day, I wrote a little article about ordering glasses online called “Being a Four Eyes is Rad. (Thanks, Zenni Optical!)“. This was an entire FOUR years ago, and ever since then, I’ve been singing the praises of purchasing your glasses from online sources. Since then, I’ve bought a pair from a B&M place, but it just wasn’t worth the $80 I spent. My health care was supposed to cover the entire thing, but anti-glare, etc. cost the $80. Online, that costs you $5. Sheesh. Anyways, I recently made an order for some new Zenni glasses under my new prescription. They had a sale for BOGO FREE (yay!! four pairs for under $40), and I am very impressed with the quality of the frames, the affordability, and most importantly, the turn around time. I only ordered, like, last week. I once had to wait three weeks to get my order. Definite improvement.
