The Reesa Method: A New Discovery in Polish Removal by ReesaRN23

Look at these thingies on the left. Do you know what they are?

They are called rubber fingertips, and are used for office work. To me, however, they are a new way to remove pesky glitter nails as discovered by MUA member ReesaRN23, thus the “Reesa Method!” These thimble looking things cost me ~$3 at Wal-Mart, and I got another box on eBay for less. The tips come in different sizes and usually come 12 to a box- look for them in the office supply section of stores.

Share this with all your nail polish buddies- this is really easy, and here is a quick tutorial. My absolute favorite part about this method is that I don’t get cut by foil. And also, my husband doesn’t wonder where the foil is!

The NOTD I tested this on was Happy Hands Motherboy over OPI Dim Sum Plum.

  1. Could you use simple rubber thimbles? I can’t get the silicone ones here in the UK. What a great invention, no more fiddling with the foil! Thank you.

  2. Seems like a dandy little trick to me. My question is, how do you make Zoya Remove at home? I have never used it but have heard good things. A mix of the glycerin and acetone?
